Kaisen Misakiko

Kaisen Misakikyo is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant (kaiten sushi), located 2 minutes away from Kamakura station. One plate is priced starting at ¥110, so you can enjoy inexpensive sushi here! You can either take the sushi going around on the conveyor belt or order on your own so your sushi will come on an express train!

Kamakura Izumi

Kamakura Izumi is located 3 minutes away from Hase station, which is on the Enoden line. This sushi restaurant is a 1-star michelin restaurant, and although very pricey, many people come to eat the most luxurious and fresh sushi.

As they do not allow any photos to be taken, you will have to check what their sushi looks like with your own eyes. There are only 14 seats, and they only accept customers who made reservations.

Kiku Sushi

Kiku Sushi is located 2 minutes away from Kamakura station, on the Komachi Dori which is a street full of restaurants and shops. Their maguro (tuna) is very popular and is worth trying. The price is not too high compared to the Michelin starred high-end sushi restaurants, but the lunch price is a lot more reasonable!

Sushi-Dokoro Kimi

Sushi-Dokoro Kimi is located 2 minutes away from Kamakura station. During lunch time, they have donburi (sushi rice bowl) as well as sushi sets that are priced around ¥1,000~¥2,980.

During dinner time, you can order different types of sushi one by one, or in a sushi set. This place is very popular, as you can enjoy fresh and high quality sushi for a quite affordable price! Good for those people who don"t want too cheap, nor too expensive.

Wasabi

Wasabi is located around 20~25 minutes away from Kamakura station, but there are also buses that you can take which will take you closer to the restaurant. I agree, the access is not too great but you can enjoy real Edomae sushi here. They renovated an old Japanese house so it has a distinct atmosphere.

For lunch time they offer three menus, and the price ranges from ¥3,000~¥5,000. During lunch time they only have "Omakase" which is priced at ¥8,000. You can enjoy real Edomae sushi made from fresh, seasonal fishes.
