5 excellent Sapporo Korean restaurants


Got a craving for some nice, spicy Korean food in Sapporo? Here are 5 places that shouldn't disappoint!

Gurumanzu Ito

This is a popular, excellent quality yakiniku restaurant. You can start your meal with an assortment of Korean appetizers (¥1,700) and then order a la carte whatever meat cuts you'd like to eat. They have all sorts from affordable kalbi to high-end wagyu cuts. You can order all kinds of Korean side dishes with noodles and rice as well.

Tokyo Sundubu Sapporo Paseo

For delicious spicy Korean hotpots served in a piping hot stone bowl, you should try Sundubu. They offer about 20 kinds and you can choose your level of spiciness. The bowls come in set meals with rice and some Korean small side dishes. Prices are between ¥1,280 to ¥1,380.

Sundubu is located near Sapporo station.

Ramen Arata

This is an original ramen joint that serves some Korean cuisine-inspired spicy ramen. The spicy yukkejan ramen is a must-try. You can also order bibimbap and gyozas as extra side dishes. If spicy is not your thing, you can also have a good bowl of classic Sapporo miso ramen.

Kokoya Soyanho

This is a great affordable Korean restaurant offering a good variety of choices on the menu. You can enjoy everything from Korean-style sushi rolls, to bibimbap, to bulgogi bowls and tofu chige for ¥800 or less.


Kosari has an authentic retro yakiniku restaurant atmosphere where you can enjoy good Korean cuisine. If you like old school izakayas, you will like the vibe there. The samgyeopsal set, the chige nabe, and the Korean-style cold noodles are all really popular. Kosari uses charcoal roaster. You cook your meat slowly by yourself at your table.
